What happens next if the repigs double down on dumb?

What happens to the moderate Conservatives?

One thing for certain...I really do NOT want them in our party and I would prefer we not court them if they decide to leave. I want to see a cataclysmic split in their party...and I want to see the moderates drive out the crazies.

If they abandon their party, then the goal posts have the potential to become extreme right and center right and that doesn't serve anyone.

yes, the GOP still wins local races, and back country, rural districts.

But otherwise they are a permanent minority party.

As I wrote earlier, they can double down and go the way of California, or they can have a nice, sharp internal civil war and take the party from the extremes

Wow, Tea Party already vowing to "take over the Republican party".

What fucking idiots.
No knowledge of history, couldn't even get their POLLS right, holy fuck.

Sigh.
Oh, well.
I'm like a survivor of the Titanic.
My party sank and I swam for the nearest seaworthy vessel.

"Conservative leaders on Wednesday lashed out at Mitt Romney, saying his attempts to paint himself as a centrist and hide his principles cost him the presidency.

They vowed to wage a war to put the Tea Party in charge of the Republican Party by the time it nominates its next presidential candidate"
