Bathtub Grover explains why the GOP loss was really a win

Conservative Grover Norquist joined HuffPost Live Wednesday to explain why he believes the 2012 election actually brought good news for the Republican party.

"When the dust settled at the end of the Election Day, the status quo that we got was the status quo that followed the 2010 election, which was very good for the Republicans," Norquist told host Alicia Menendez, citing Republican control of the House and similar levels of Republicans in the Senate, despite Democratic control of the White House.

"The Republicans are as strong as they were after 2010, and that was considered a devastating body blow to the Obama administration and Democratic hopes," he said. "What's been crushing for Republicans is that they had hopes of taking the Senate and the presidency. That didn't happen."

Norquist also focused on state gains, noting that the GOP controls more governorships and state legislatures than at any time since 1920. ....................(more)

If you really listen to the runaway garden gnome...his plans for this country almost seem to fall in line with what Bin Laden wanted to do to it.

Just my thought.

Teabaggers, it's high time to realize that your 2010 "revolution" was most indeed a fluke.

They'll spend their days passing more anti choice bills or more tax cuts for the rich and whatever they do will rot. They'll make even bigger fools of themselves and sink that 11% approval rating even lower.

We should thank Grover and all these right wing loud mouths for amping up the hate and disgust. Beside the fact of coming off as sore losers, they're guaranteed to continue to scare people and help elect Democrats. Unlike 2010, we're not gonna be sitting back...last night the first part of the job of cleansing tea stains off the body politic began...2014 is when the job is completed...

He comes in a distant third behind a 40-year-old puppet and an all-but-forgotten President.

Republicans lost seats in the House and the Senate and they lost the WH.

He is desperately trying to remain relevant. He cannot face the reality so he creates his own delusional reality.

I'm betting that a lot of Republicans who signed on to his 'oath' will join the one or two sane Republicans who have stated they do not agree with it anymore.

These people are very sick. The sad thing is that we let them get into positions of power because for over a decade, no one challenged them.

He is a pathetic loser in every sense of the word.
