OK guys my head still hurts from last night. I admit I started drinking about 6:00 Denver time,

and then once it was over I was still merrily popping open beers watching speeches, watching poor Alex Castellanos contemplate suicide, etc. Anyways, glad the stress is only once every 4 years because I don't appear to handle it well.

My paper was late, I could barely make it in to work and my phone stopped ringing here in Colorado.

We had a rack of lamb for dinner w/ pasta and home-grown green beans, home made apple wine, and, of course, my gourmet Manhattans (which went on through the night).

Yes, it got very drunk last night. But, we were so happy, it somehow seemed appropriate. Plus, the lamb was wonderfully barbeed.
