Boots on the ground

it is deplorable that some of the congress critters can run virtually unopposed like Mike Pompeo

could we please get a majority of Governorships? A lot of them really need to go. There are a whole lot of them up for grabs in two years. FL, WI, MI, OH, and PA are at the top of my list.

...of those who fail to actually roll up their sleeves and get to work on a budget/revenue solution that reflects an actual balance that reflects the priorities which matter.

John Boehner has an opportunity to grow, adapt, lead, and get the ideologues in his camp to shut up, sit down, fix real problems, and fix his party. If he takes that opportunity seriously, and quits the empty posturing, it will be good for him, his party, and this country.

If they think this is 2009 all over again, they are going to cut their own throats.

The GOP cannot simply make a hash of things and expect to be around after 2014.

I despise that smug SOB Cantor.

Not to mention he doesn't represent most of the people in his district. We aren't all billionaires benefitting from these ridiculous top down tax policies.

but redistricting by the repubs makes this difficult. Plus this is where a large majority of money is spent is keeping control of the house, where they can fuck up shit and control the debate by controlling what bills get put up in the first place.

The Senate is great to hold onto, but the House is where the Democratic majority is needed for meaningful chance in terms of legislation.

They were responsible for us getting slaughtered in 2010.

We can carry water for the players all day, but if they refuse to score points, nothing we do can help us win the game.

If they play like real Democrats, we will retake the House. If they worry about playing nice with the other team, we will lose more seats.
