Now comes the bull that Obama still has to earn a mandate, even though he already WON the election

I'm listening to 'historian' Doris Goodwin say that the President has to go out among the 'people'. That, after over a year of almost non-stop campaigning, resulting in a resounding defeat of his opponent at the polls, Obama still hasn't connected with folks out here. Unbelievable!!

It's never enough for some folks. I think they want to be the story, instead of focusing on the guy who's doing all of the footwork and drawing the most support. Here, we're thinking that we already sent that message with our votes. So, the plan is to just ignore us and run some kind of media post-race based on their endless speculation and bias, instead of actual votes.

. . .to the exclusion of all else. And, it's bullshit to pretend that his election was about that one statement.
