'Jeff Gray was holding up a sign reading "God Bless the Homeless Vets" when he was arrested for panhandling. He says he wasn't panhandling, however. The retired truck driver has been stopped, searched and arrested by the police for holding up signs in front of city halls all across the country.

The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) has filed two lawsuits this week on behalf of Gray saying that his First Amendment rights were violated by the cities of Alpharetta and Blackshear, both in Georgia, the site said.'

It’s just not Christian to help a homeless Vet. It’s in the Bible, right along with abortion is bad. That’s what Jesus said. Right? Who the fuck knows what’s in the Bible. Guess ya gotta consult a zealot. Praise the lord.

And, gosh, if Churchs lost their tax exempt status because they don’t give a fuck about the separation of church and state, then maybe we’d get a little help for homeless Vets. But then we’d have to contend with the aggrieved billionaires who might be offended with the prospect of helping a homeless vet or helping anyone making less then 200,00 a year. God bless those billionaires one and all.

3. He has a YouTube channel I occasionally watch. All he does is hold a sign

and repeats what the sign says, “God bless the homeless Vets”, in a calm voice, and NEVER asks for money or anything else, ever.
This drives people absolutely crazy for some reason, which leads to cops showing up and going crazy.
I’m glad someone is going to bat for him, legally.

4. I've watched his videos.

Amazing study of humanity.

He intentionally says ONLY “God Bless the homeless vets”, and nothing else. Never asks for money. Each little town or county court house treats him differently.

If the local town cop, clerk, mayor, whoever tells him to stop, he just says the same thing over. He’s been arrested several times. Those towns look bad when they arrest him. It all goes on video.
