Former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) spoke to Hugh Hewitt:
HEWITT: Will you support whoever the nominee of the Republican Party is in 2024?
HOGAN: I imagine that will be the case. Im anxious to find out who the nominees going to be.
HEWITT: Well, that, Im assuming that no one knows, but it might be Donald Trump. So youre saying if its Donald Trump, youll be willing to support him?
HOGAN: Yeah, as Ive said, Hugh, I dont think it is going to be Donald Trump, but you know, well cross that bridge or jump off that bridge when we come to it.
HEWITT: Now wait a minute
If Trump is the nominee, does Larry Hogan support him?
HOGAN: Yeah, I just dont think hes going to be the nominee, but Ill support the nominee.
HEWITT: There you go. Thats what I wanted.

(3,213 posts)And he still is. He's no different than any other Republican, and had he not been constrained by our supermajority Dem legislature, he would have been just as evil as every other GOP Governor.

My two cents is that he was pressed into it. Given a choice of a rw uproar, he begrudgingly said he's support trump, but it's a long way down the road to see what that might mean.
