I have mixed feelings about Omar on a Foreign Relations committee. I've heard one of her apologies in which she supported Jewish Americans, but haven't heard her support Israel. She is good at deflecting questions about Israel and its right to exist and our efforts to support Israel.

I don't care for Repubs throwing her off any committees, but Dems did toss Jim Jordan off the Jan 6 sub-committee, right?



Edit to add: Today, Omar signed onto a resolution recognizing Israel and its right to exist. Now I would gladly back her return to the Foreign Affairs (or is it Foreign Relations) committee. This was good news. Way to go Ilhan.
