Let's own the conversation.

A few recent articles point out the utter stupidity of letting the Republcan party (now rightly called the Fascist party) define issues and people in ways that are milquetoast to themselves and poison to others.

These articles are:
(negative)
• Judge Luttig saying that an indictment of the worst traitor since the Civil War and worst advocate of violence against the U.S. and fellow citizens since Hitler might “split the nation" ... something that said traitor tried to do every day he was in office, and thereafter. Saying in effect that division and undoubtedly, violence are the ransom being held over the country's head for the dismissal of all charges, responsibility and accountability of his crimes. (IMO)

(positive)
• David Cicilline, D-R.I., introducing an amendment to an amendment basically saying that the pledge of allegiance cannot be led by anyone who has supported an insurrection against the United States in any way. (In the spirit of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, IMO)

(positive)
• Lawyers for Hunter Biden sent letters Wednesday requesting investigations into allies of former President Donald Trump who they say trafficked in stolen information from his laptop — a dramatic shift in strategy for the president’s son after years of GOP attacks.

• Identifying a traitor and thief as such is owning the conversation.
He and the right wing media are going to raise hell no matter what ... even if Joe Biden rides a bicycle!
• Identifying accomplices to a violent attempt to overthrow the government is owning the conversation.
• Identifying computer theft and alteration as a crime under the CFAA of 1986 is owning the conversation.

And these are provable facts.
It's just basic mental health 101: Don't let anyone else define you.
They let their manipulators do it to them, and that's a Faustian bargain. "No soul for you"

As a veteran and former aerospace engineer who handled clasified infomation with total responsbility, it pisses me off royally that what might be the greatest act of espionage in the nation's history, done in the open, is taking forever to prosecute.

The longer a giant and highly visible crime is left untouched the more encouragement is given to copycats and others who see the government as timid, only sightly better than a previous government that committed, condoned and covered up crimes. "Slightly better" does not make the grade. Lawlessness, violence and disdain for the constitution grow stronger every day that there is no accountability.
