Broadcast from the Oval Office with VP beside him. Who wants to see that smug rat face of Kev behind Joe for an hour and a half. And the ridiculous standing versus GQP sitting or the antics of the newly empowered howling monkeys. It has gotten to the point I can’t stand to watch the freak show of SOTU. Have Joe in the White House, with VP to the left and special guest Nancy Pelosi to the right. Let the GQP sit in a chamber with Kev, the howling monkeys and Sarah Huckabee ranting. Schedule seating with DeSatan beside special guest TFG. Open carry. Maybe a gun fight will erupt and they lose half their seats and power of House Majority.

First, the SOTU Address IS NOT presented to the House. Its presented to the CONGRESS. McCarthy and the House GOP don't get to unilaterally decide the Capitol security measure.

Second, the President is protected by the Secret Service, who dictate the security rules. Everyone attending, including Republican members of Congress will all be screened.

I know there’s no Constitutional requirement that demands he give an actual speech in front of Congress or be in the Capitol physically, but acting scared and paranoid would be an idiotic and foolish reaction.

We control the Senate. The Republicans barely control the House. We live in an age where the President is always protected by a bubble of heavy security.

And we honestly don’t have to be afraid of a handful of yahoo posers who want to show their base how much they love the gunz. None of them are so audacious that they want to be the 21st Century version of Brutus and risk their own personal life or liberty.

I mean, seriously, people.

He’s our President. We need to be proud of him and let him do the things Presidents traditionally do.

Not act like a bunch of cowardly, paranoid fools who are out of touch with reality.
