It is fair to assume Rudy will be indicted by Willis. Willis also named the 16 fake electors in Georgia as targets. When you are named a target in a investigation, it is time to lawyer up.
Many months ago another Trump lawyer, first name Boris, appeared on MSNBC and described the fake elector scheme in great detail. He called it perfectly legal during the interview. He also stated Rudy was in charge of running the fake elector scheme, not just in Georgia, the entire scheme. This my friends in on video.
When Rudy is indicted prosecutors will be able to draw a straight line from Rudy to the White House. A straight line to the mastermind of the scheme, Eastman, Boris, Meadows, etc. This one indictment will set off a chain reaction, a domino effect. You cannot indict Rudy without the other people involved in the conspiracy. They are all connected by the evidence.
There is a reason I call the attempted coup the Coup of Fools. These fools who held power admitted to their crimes on TV. They believed the power they had at that time protected them. Their power made them arrogant. They believed they could openly commit, admit, their crimes and simply tell everyone it's all legal. We are in power, this is not illegal. Nixon believed the same thing. Many White House officials who worked for Nixon went to prison. Nixon a sitting president was forced to resign.
When Rudy, others are indicted, look for things to snowball very quickly.
Willis also has the smoking gun evidence of Trumps infamous phone call, which included Meadows and two other Trump lawyers.
Please don't ask me when Willis is going to indict people. It's a waste of time. No one knows. We will know when it happens. Willis has made it clear indictments are coming.

(4,913 posts)We know she is investigating Trump. That is a fact. If she feels she has enough evidence to indict Trump she has the power to do so. That is a fact.

(21,418 posts)Remember back in August when people were saying that indictments are imminent because DOJ seized Perry's phone? DOJ has yet been able to access the phone. This week Peter Strzok said it could possibly take a year for DOJ to gain access to the phone, meanwhile Perry is on the committee that is investigating the FBI. You just can't make this shit up.
The insurrection is growing.

(21,418 posts)I thought he was the architect of the fake elector scheme, now it's Rudy?
I have faith in Fani, I repeat, she is most likely waiting for the judge to rule on whether to make public the special grand jury report.
I have no problems with state prosecutors other than Alvin Bragg who is going to get his ass handed to him when the Pomerantz book comes out. Bragg is in full blown damage control, so says Glenn Kirschner who was just on Stephanie Miller.

(1,836 posts)The 2024 campaign season has already kicked off and Trump has already declared- theres zero chance anyone, even President Biden himself, in a position of power wants him arrested now. They will not risk the fall out of arresting a major political opponent during an active campaign season. There was a window when such things could happen. Its closed now.

(21,418 posts)does seem to not appear partisan. How ironic, DOJ doesn't want to appear to be partisan when one political party was complicit in the insurrection. I ask this question again, who is Garland not appearing partisan to? It sure didn't work appointing Jack Smith, the Magats are calling Garland and Smith witch hunters. Garland is actually being partisan against Democrats.

(4,913 posts)All the investigations are still in place. They are all moving forward, expanding. The grand juries are still in place. They are still issuing subpoenas, collecting evidence, questioning witnesses. under oath. Are people supposed to believe this is all for show. One day Garland, Smith, Willis, will announce sorry, not going to indict anyone, not enough evidence, fooled ya.
Sorry, I do not understand the defeatism. I look at the facts and the facts say the investigations are not slowing down, they are moving forward. The evidence is overwhelming to the point it would be a crime not to indict the coup plotters.
Willis made it very clear she is getting close to indicting people and some people still say, nothing will happen. When it comes to some peoples opinion things are taking too long, that opinion is irrelevant the it comes to the investigations.

(21,645 posts)Even after a trial and conviction, there will be some who complain that the charges are not strong enough, do not cover ALL of the crimes. etc.
If Garland got Trump convicted of murders for his mishandling of the pandemic and sentenced to life, some people would complain, "Yeah, but Garland let the statute of limitations run out on Stormy Daniels."
Don't let yourself get frustrated over it. Just shake your head and move on.

(21,418 posts)when indicting a former president. The states have a better chance, no pardons.
Do you have any doubt that a Magat president will pardon Trump and his comrades? Trump, if indicted today, would not see any jail time until after the 2024 election. Democrats better win in 2024 and 2028.
fightforfreedom
(4,913 posts)If you're worried Trump will be pardoned in 2024 it doesn't matter when he is convicted. Yesterday, today, tomorrow, it wouldn't matter. All investigations should stop now if Trump is going to be pardoned. One day there will be another Republican elected president. No one knows if they would pardon the traitors. It could be political suicide to do so. No one knows and it is something that is irrelevant to the investigations.
Garland and Smith are not thinking about Trump and the coup plotters being pardoned.
Ford pardoned Nixon before he was indicted. A Republican president giving pardons to Trump and the coup plotters after they were indicted, after convictions would have major political repercussions. Easier said then done.

(70,594 posts).... prison to protect TFG and his fellow crooks?
fightforfreedom
(4,913 posts)This is a major problem Trump and the coup plotters have. They involved so many people in the Coup of Fools it is hard to imagine some people will not turn in order to save themselves. Prosecutors know how to turn people. When people start being indicted that will really turn up the heat on people.

(70,594 posts)... "find" 11,780 votes but another one of TFG telling the attorney for Georgia's Sec. of State
that to hold up certifying the vote because "big things are going to happen on January 6th."
Lindsey Graham is on tape too telling Georgia's Sec. of State that he shouldn't count all the
mail in vote for Fulton, County (aka the black vote) because he thinks there will be a problem
with those vote's signatures. Now who among those fake electors want to spend @ least 5
years in prison for Trump, Rudy, Eastmen, or Meadows?

(13,722 posts)President Trumps staggering record of uncharged crimes
https://www.citizensforethics.org/reports-investigations/crew-reports/president-trumps-staggering-record-of-uncharged-crimes/#table
As of November 2022, Donald Trump has been credibly accused of committing at least 56 criminal offenses since he launched his campaign for president in 2015. That total only reflects allegations relating to his time in or running for office and omits, for instance, Trumps criminal exposure for fraudulent business dealings.
As reported by https://www.citizensforethics.org/
I will list these crimes if need be.

(7,639 posts)People think because he's gotten away with stuff in NY that he'll continue to do so.
Nope, he just had to be a big shot and so he duped all those easily fooled idiots and in a twist of EC fate that surprised even him, was elected their king.
Perhaps thinking he was now God's chosen, he continued to crime away and did so under the bright lights of the national stage figuring, like many here, that he'd just continue to skate like he did before in the bush leagues.
Nope, not gonna happen and I think it will start with Willis.
