The Vatican is opening a personal Twitter account for Pope Benedict XVI, who will begin tweeting messages urbi et orbi – to the city and the world, Newsmax has learned.

By year’s end the Pope will join one of the fastest growing social media outlets to share his opinions and Church news, a Vatican official confirmed.
