Rachel said someone got FIRED today. Who,?

She said everyone agreed.
But I haven't Heard Who IT WAS ?!?

I hope it was that slimy Architect of the Capitol. I listened to his testimony on You Tube. What a slimeball. His wife was on Twitter on J6 telling people to gather at the Capitol ! While he was working from a remote location because he knew it was going to be bad.

Biden fires the Architect of the Capitol after bipartisan criticism from lawmakers
Updated February 13, 20237:24 PM ET
DUSTIN JONES, NPR

President Biden fired Architect of the Capitol J. Brett Blanton Monday after lawmakers from both sides of the aisle demanded he resign or be fired.

Blanton was responsible for the upkeep and operation of over 18 million square feet of buildings and 570 acres of land throughout the U.S. Capitol complex.

An investigation conducted by the Architect of the Capitol Inspector General's Office found Blanton had "abused his authority, misused government property and wasted taxpayer money, among other substantiated violations."

The inspector general's report was released last fall, but Blanton found himself in the hot seat again last week during a House Administration Committee hearing, where he told lawmakers that he wasn't on the grounds during the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.

…. stuff regarding 1/6. She sounds a bit like Ginni Thomas, texting all kinds of key people. He apparently was offering tours when he should not have been to people who had no business being there. And of course there’s the puzzlement over how people ended up with maps of the interior of the building, including the locations of those secret offices.

I was hoping Rachel Maddow would expand on the brief articles we saw posted here, but apparently she was working off the official notification about misuse of vehicles and such.

The house was overrun. He had the keys. He has a huge force reporting to him. It was a form of sabotage.
