There is no "fiscal crisis"...

Don't fall for it. Even if you are a billionaire, you would still get a tax cut on your first $250,000. Even the so-called "liberal media" is pushing this "crisis" bullshit.

The sooner the Bush tax cuts are permitted to expire, the better. Otherwise, Democrats will be defending the huge deficits forever. Government cannot run without revenues. This is the easiest way to get revenues. Nobody has to vote for them. They happen automatically..

Please, please, please Democrats. Do not shrink before this small challenge. Stand up and be real Democrats. The economy will do better, not worse.

Obama has the bully pulpit right now and guarantee that the voters will have a clear picture of what is going on.

After WW2 the debt was 120% of GDP and it is 95% now. Did Truman and Eisenhower cut back spending? Yes on the military but they INCREASED it domestically. The GI Bill, and massive infrastructure spending on new schools, sewers, and the Interstate hiway system. THis stimulated the economy and by 1962 the national debt was only 40% of GDP.

Austerity will KILL the American economy which is what the GOP wants to do to win 2016. Greece is suffering from a lack of tax revenue not overspending. And their austerity is making it worse.

According to them. They want another several trillion dollars.

Are we going to let our politicians give it to them??
