The More I Read - The More Amazed I Am That Romney Came Within A Million Miles...

..of the White House.

Some of the things like the "Transition Website" were fine...understandable - you need to get something ready.

But the Fireworks? No Concession Speech? His wife breaking down? The campaign "shellshock?"

Were they that cloistered, detached, and delusional?

My God, the only people who could produce an Electoral College Map showing 270 were just the fringe idiots of FOX News.

Simply breathtaking

Remember what happened to the Hitler Youth? The came out of fallen Nazi Germany so brainwashed many couldn't even do simple arithmetic and had difficulty with logical thinking. Fox News and Right Wing radio is seriously brainwashing and dumbing down the masses.

something happened - maybe the fixers were being watched too close, got scared, decided not to risk life in prison.

The phoney numbers after the first debate and they ran with it along with the media.

KKKarl knocked over the Ohio casino in '04 with the help of Ken Blackwell. That took some guts. It takes monumental brass balls to try and knock over the same casino eight years later. My guess is that, given all the attention focused on Ohio this year, and that a good deal of that attention came from a US District Court Judge, that Kasich and/or Huston got cold feet and ratfucked KKKarl's planned fix. There would have been a huge hue and cry, a big investigation and a lot of people with (R) after their names headed for extended stays in the Big House.

Whatever Rover offered them wasn't enough to make them risk prison and they chickened out. It was the dog that didn't bark when Rover expected it to.

Some people get that way when they have a lot of money.

I tend to think his mindset was something like "all I have to do
is say I'm running and people will vote for me overwhelmingly" .

Now it's time for him to wake up and smell the coffee.

The other Repukes in the primary race were a collection of bug-eaters, duck-fuckers, dimbulb theocrats and just plain lunatics. With the sole exception of Responsible Adult Jon Huntsman, and you remember what happened to him. Romney had to tell so many lies to so many people that by June he could no longer begin to remember what lie he had told to whom. But he was, incredibly, the best of the bunch that survived the first primaries. Let that one sink in for a couple of minutes.

There is a hard core base of imbeciles (the mass version of the aforementioned bug-eaters, duck-fuckers, dimbulb theocrats and just plain lunatics) that would vote for a post turtle if it had an R behind its name. Even Santorum would probably have gotten 40% of the vote, though he would have been snowed under like Barry Goldwater was in 1964. Let that one sink in for a minute.

Given these two basic facts, I wasn't surprised by anything that happened this year.
