1. Yeah, on issues like gay marriage they will. Some people get more conservative when they

get older or make more $$ (neither one of which affects me or all the Dems I know, though, but it evidently does affect SOME people) ... but on the social issues, I think the GOP will continue to lose. The times they are a'changin'.

And my age bracket was the only one to solidly break for Kerry. I'm 36 now, and my age bracket is still breaking Dem. What does this mean? Sorry Mr. Churchill, we are not going to get more conservative as we get older. We are a generation that lived through eight years of destructive conservative hell and we will never let it happen again. We will be the death of the conservative movement one day.

And when that happens, many of us will look back on the eight insane years of the Bush administration and know that those were the years when our beliefs truly cemented. Those were the years when we realized just how destructive conservatives can be when they are given too much power. So to all lurking teabaggers, maybe now should be the time whether or not you start wondering if a ridiculous war in Iraq, trampling the U.S Constitution, embracing torture, and giving free reign to corporate crooks was really worth it.

4. We are getting more liberal, not less. I am 36 too. I was a younger voter in 1996, 2000 and 2004.

I was not even a registered Dem then but I am now. Gen Y and the younger Gen Xers have had enough of this crap. The under 40's are lost to the Repubs. And they deserve not to be in power by turning their back on us, in social and fiscal policy.

Research appears to indicate that there are differences in the physical structure of the brains of conservatives and liberals as well as in their manner of thinking.

was 26 in 2004 and I do indeed look back at the Bush comedy-horror show as when my views
cemented. Will never change much at this point, because I do not adhere to a STRAWMAN
version of liberalism that wants to make life difficult for middle class suburbanite nuclear families.
I want and believe it is possible to craft policy that makes it possible for ALL kinds of classes and families
to prosper.

They might not approve, but they won't get worked up about blocking it. Others may even be Megan McCain Republicans.
