1. strange but somehow I remember that day. I was in college at the time and

trying to get a paper done that was due that day. I even recall the living room with the big table and papers all around. My room mate at the time told me. Just that image pops into my mind right now.

Hard to believe the youngest Beatle would have turned 80 today. I always remember the Beatle’s birthdays from my little 13 year old self Beatlemaniac days.

didn't stop him from being a heavy smoker. No amount of yoga and mantra-chanting can negate the horrible effects of smoking.

It breaks my heart that people still insist on smoking. The days of "Four out of five doctors recommend Camel cigarettes!" are OVER! Please stop smoking!

I liked George Harrison so much. His status as the 'quiet Beatle' minimizes his incredible contributions to the group.

IIRC, it was formed by Harrison and Jeff Lynn (ELO) with Tom Petty, Bob Dylan and Roy Orbison. Too bad Orbison died shortly after the group formed.
