What will Karl Rove's next job be since he won't get work as a political consultant again?

I'm thinking he'll play the Ned Beatty role in a dinner theater production of DELIVERANCE or become a birthday party clown like John Wayne Gacy since that's the only way he could up his creepiness factor.

in which the Repubs have pretended they never heard of the Bushes, and I doubt if that'll change

I'd be thrilled if Jebbie would run, of course, cuz I think the whole country would projectile-vomit at the thought of a third Bush gangsta in the White House -- but I can't believe the Repubs would be that stupid

so much so- that it wouldn't surprise me if they have a much smaller number of people running in their primaries, to avoid all the 'long knife' fights, and let jeb advance to the nomination unscathed, and with the pugs united around him.

This kind of New Age babble would be embarrassing from a Democrat, and probably eliminate him in the primaries. In fundamentalist circles, this is a half step below sacrifice your children to Baal.

After more than an hour of solemn ceremony naming Rep. Marco Rubio, R-West Miami, as the 2007-08 House speaker, Gov. Jeb Bush stepped to the podium in the House chamber last week and told a short story about "unleashing Chang," his "mystical warrior" friend.

Here are Bush's words, spoken before hundreds of lawmakers and politicians:

''Chang is a mystical warrior. Chang is somebody who believes in conservative principles, believes in entrepreneurial capitalism, believes in moral values that underpin a free society.

''I rely on Chang with great regularity in my public life. He has been by my side and sometimes I let him down. But Chang, this mystical warrior, has never let me down.''

When I was (small) farming, I used to order frozen boar semen from a place in Iowa.

Somebody has to jerk those boars off.

And they better be good at it! Nothing crankier than a sexually frustrated boar.

At least not in the swing states where they need right wing wacko turnout to be high. Does he have any other cards to play? Terrorism (aka invade as many countries as possible) won't work. No one wants to see that anymore. He's got nothing else to offer. His tricks are old and stale.
