(32,610 posts)because they are stupid on social issues like gay rights. What is wrong with that?

(32,610 posts)start a female bashing thread and everyone would join you.
Obvious is obvious.

(16,399 posts)Did you jump in to accuse me of male bashing when I started a thread asking why Mitt should a sit down meeting with the President? Or about how Chuckie Toad and Tom Brokejaw suck when they push their GOP talking points? Or that Scott Brown's claim that he is a moderate is laughable?
But I noticed you still dodge my larger point....so let's take it right to you....
"This is a president who will do absolutely anything and everything not to talk about the economy," Meghan McCain, June 15, 2012
Do you agree?
McCain said that, though immigration is a complex issue, Obama is just trying to mask his shortcomings ahead of the election.
"He has had three-and-a-half years to make a bipartisan plan work, including with my father, who met with him specifically about immigration, and he just choose to do this now when his numbers are tanking? I think, like everything else with President Obama, it's based specifically off of political motivation."
McCain said its very hard to criticize the new policy change because it can come off as racist and no politician wants to risk that in an election year.
How about that?

(16,399 posts)Apparently trust fund babies who complain their party is bad on social issues, but not bad enough for them to actually LEAVE that party (because you know, they still like tax breaks which trumps all else) are a protected class with you. I wonder why?
Trust fund babies put taxes over social issues. Don't know why you have a problem with me saying that. THAT was the point of the OP.
By the way, I started my thread four minutes before the other....not a big deal either....tons of people start random posts about things they are watching at that moment.

(21,925 posts)Surely she knows their archaic positions on abortion, women's issues, LGBT issues, immigration, and the rest. If she really is a progressive Republican like she says, particularly on social issues, I'd think she'd be delighted and proudly admitting she voted for Obama.

(2,679 posts)her comments have been the most sane so far one whats wrong with her party. Too bad she is just now starting to realize this. Maybe she will grow a brain and get out while she still can. But I wouldn't bet on it.
I am still taking much joy in knowing that they never saw this coming. For a brief nano of a nano second I almost felt sorry for them .... but it turned out to be gas from the beans I had with dinner.

(16,399 posts)Of which she is a part of....but apparently we aren't supposed to criticize her for while she complains that "her party" is bad on the social issues.

(22,651 posts)talk is cheap. Your Father is ignoring the citizens of his home state!
Nearly 460,000 votes in Maricopa County and more than 600,000 statewide had yet to be counted as of late Wednesday, clouding the outcome of several close Arizona races.
