Once again, Reverend Al stoops low and has idiot Megan McCain on his show. WTF??

Is he required to have her on monthly?

She is dumber than a post. And talks like a valley girl.

He hurts his credibility every time he does this.

On Edit: Maybe there is no other GOP person willing to appear on his show. I guess he needs someone on the GOP side.

I rather admire her and her mother for having the courage to come out for LGBT rights...that couldn't have made daddy/hubby very happy. She's been on Rachel's show a number of times. I have a problem with people who want to live in bubbles....Democratic or Republican bubbles.

I really do not get YOUR ISSUE, but obviously from the reaction to YOUR POST the problem is yours, not hers.

FYI other republicans do appear on the station sparky. We even have one of them, a former congressman no less, with his own show. It seems your issue s...they have republicans. Are repubs less than human? Your posts suggests maybe. If that is not your intent, my apologies.

Here is something on your remote. It s called the ON/ OFF switch. You might want to avail yourself of it.

Me, I don't mind hearing the other side.. Reasonable people can disagree, and it seems Meghan McCain knows that, how about you?

And your point? A few others, dick Morris for example, had a post mortem that was saying the same...yes, THAT DICK MORRIS.

Not that the base will listen. They have doubled down.

Sometimes deep truths come from the young, this is the case here.

Something about message and messenger.

And if your problem is her age, you are in good company, let me add gender...the base would rather get rid of the uppity women folk who don't know their place.

His entire spiel is that the Republicans just aren't able to get their message across. What it boils down to is finding a warmer and friendlier way of relating the message "fuck you" to minorities and women.

She isn't stupid and her points make sense. She is a republican so she is obviously going to say things we don't agree with--but she isn't toxic.

The segment just ended and I wholeheartedly agree with Megan (except that part about liking Bill O'Reilly). She is what the Republican party needs. They need more moderate, young, diverse people in there for them to have a shot. She made some very good points about how the party will die off if they don't accept the fact that the country is "browner" and how they need to get over these social issues. I actually liked the segment very much.

At least she is realistic enough to know that the world is not just white males, as she just said.

Yes, she talks like a valley girl - like so many young women these days. Hard for me to get used to in my dotage, but that's the way lots of people talk today. Like many Republicans, I have a southern accent, and it probably makes me sound dumb to some people. I hope people listen to the content of what I'm saying rather than the dialect that is used when I speak.

I agreed with her more than the GOP guy that was also on.

I thought it was a good interview, which he does well.

She's trying to talk some sense into her party. Let's face it, somebody has to do it. She's female, she's young and that's a demographic that's lost to them. The elders in her party don't get it, she does. Maybe they should start listening to her.

She has been the first logical Republican talking head that I have seen. She realizes her party is out of touch and will continue to die unless the republicans get rid of their outlandish views on social issues like gay marriage, abortion, and how they don't reach out to minorities. I thought it was refreshing to see a Republican with some common sense.

Ultimately she should leave the party because the Republicans will most likely try to go further right like the idiots they are.

She grew up with her father's ideals so it's not surprising she said those things. I didn't say she was a genius, it just seems she realizes a lot of her party's platform won't work anymore.
