Folks on the Twitters felt the need to remind MTG of her own behavior – like her hounding teenager David Hogg in public who survived a mass shooting in Florida – that’s led to this kind of incivility.

Of course, once she was elected to Congress, she began scrubbing her social media accounts of these sort of encounters.

2. Not too impressed by anyone who

demands to be treated better than they treat others, and in her particular case, there's a perfect intersection of sanctimony and crassness to contend with.

She'll most likely remain one of those embittered souls who simply snipe at everyone after the fact, never have a kind word to say, and can't really hold a conversation without pretending to be offended at the benign and the innocent. Were she even 1% less a horrible person, I'd pity her. But as it stands, her negative, mean-spirited sniping is just too annoying to overlook.

I still have not seen any proof that the incident it's complaining about actually occurred. And I do apologize for referring to that congress critter as "it", but a POS deserves no better.

9. Please do not use pronouns as an insult.

It doesn't matter who you are attempting to insult. When pronouns are not respected, it makes DU a more hostile place for individuals whose pronouns are routinely disregarded, often as a way of rejecting who they are.

Have you been missed how hostile this place has been recently to trans individuals? Just yesterday a thread on trans participation in athletics had to be locked by EarlG.

It's pretty hard to be LGBT around here - and especially hard to be trans. Crap like using pronouns as an insult makes it harder.
