Both 20/20 and Dateline are featuring the Murdaugh trial, tonight

I didn't watch the trial but I've been following the story for a while, now. I had no doubt the jury would find him guilty. I didn't expect the verdict would come in so fast. I'm glad he got life without parole. Now I wonder if they will bother prosecuting the financial crimes.

1. Are either of them covering those prior events (boat-related death by son and housekeeper's death?)

or just the current subject of the trial--the deaths of son and wife? The housekeeper's body was exhumed about six months ago because no autopsy was ever performed, but no results have been made publicly available.

2. Netflix did this. Really close look at the boat case, the housekeeper and the guy on the road.

And finally the family killing. It’s pretty interesting. I hadn’t paid attention to this family until two nights ago. Screwed up family for sure.

This is like a modern day Shakespeare drama.

3. Probably just the trial.

I've seen the housekeeper's suspicious death (IMHO) covered on other shows about the family. Not sure what's going on with that, but there's lots of reason to believe that her death wasn't really accidental.

One thing for sure - he dragged his entire family down with him and I'm not sure that's a bad thing.

This guy, and his sons, are/were classic human train wrecks. This is the end result of never having been held accountable for anything. Eventually it all comes tumbling down.

Alex reminds me of TFG.
