First School Boards.... (Florida of course)

Hospital Boards? I received this in my daily email from Beckers (I worked in hospital finance before having to retire). The article describes physicians at a hospital getting death threats after a report was released that the hospital had a "strong Covid response". It appears some MAGAT type anti-vaccine candidates were elected to the board and demand an investigation why horse drugs weren't accepted by physicians (ah.... Science maybe?). I'll let you read the whole article but will post some excerpts below. FLORIDA..... Where else? Even Gen. Michael Flynn, a MAGAT FIRST CLASS showed up at the first meeting of the new board.

"According to hospital spokesperson Kim Savage, Sarasota Memorial began facing increased criticism over its handling of the pandemic after residents elected three "medical freedom" candidates to the hospital's board of trustees. Two were elected during the primaries in August. A third was elected in the November general election. "

"During a meeting in November, self-described "health freedom activists" demanded the board investigate hospital management during the pandemic and criticized leadership for not tailoring care options to include certain purported COVID-19 treatments such as ivermectin. It was the first meeting to include the new board members, and the board ultimately voted to investigate Sarasota Memorial Hospital's protocols during the pandemic. "

and school board elections last year. I couldn't find anything about either. I guessed about the school board candidates, figuring if there were signs next to DeSantis I didn't want to vote for them. But I couldn't even find that clue for the hospital board. The Democratic Party in Florida was not help at all. Now we are stuck with these idiots and the bad science and medicine they will bring. So frustrating.

How inconvenient for the MAGATs. So the study they did actually showed they performed better than national benchmarks and people actually lived. Now the MAGATs are really upset. Despite the excellent performance and testimony by the health workers who were actually dealing with the pandemic, the MAGAT anti-vax crowd isn't satisfied. This is typical. Despite things like FACTS and DATA they cling to their Qspiracy thoeries.

"The hospital’s COVID death rate was 24% lower than national benchmarks. Still, the report did little to satisfy "health freedom" activists who say they distrust the hospital."
