Just saw a clip on MSNBC. Not sure when the interview actually happened, because it was used as an introduction piece to his segment with Velshi to talk about Mehti's new book, Win Every Argument. But he had Erik Prince on stage and asked why he didn't tell Congress about a meeting that involved all the usual suspects, because it was pertinent to what Congress was investigating. Erik Prince claimed he did say it, and Mehti said he had the transcripts and it shows that he did not. So Erik Prince said that the transcripts were wrong. Laughter rose from the audience.
Great interview, not sure how I missed it, but this is the kind of reporting we need.
Mehti's is doing a great interview right now, on what reporters should do to handle the propagandist on the right. EVEN MENTIONED GISH GALLOPING, WHICH I LEARNED ABOUT HERE ON DU JUST YESTERDAY! The Republicans are great at it. They just keep on talking, but not really getting to any point, other than to try to confuse you. Mehti said that the book explains how to handle it.
Win Every Argument. I think I'm going to buy the book.

(10,429 posts)Willard Rmoney used it expertly at the first debate with Obama. Slimy liars like Rmoney and most all republicons are skilled at it.
I've seen Mehdi Hasan on a few appearances about that book, I think I'll get it also. His show is great. He may not be as well-liked because he is truthful and doesn't coddle anyone, but that's actually why I like him.
