An old story and a question

During the 2008 presidential campaign, when it was clear that Senator Obama had won the election, Sarah Palin demanded to give a concession speech. She was over-ruled by Senator McCain’s campaign chief, Steve Schmidt. The scene was detailed in both the book and the movie, Game Change.

Did Palin ever release the speech? I’m sure it would have been unique. Without too much effort, I can imagine what she might have said but it still would be interesting to read in retrospect.

The speech, and the victory version, are both in the book on which the movie is based.

Sarah Palin's Never-Heard Victory, Concession Speeches

New book features speeches Palin wasn't allowed to give on election night.

Sarah Palin's Lost Speeches

We present exclusively the concession speech that speechwriter Matthew Scully—a Palin loyalist—had written for the vice presidential nominee, as well as the victory speech that he penned for her in the event of a positive outcome. On election night, senior McCain aides had to tell Palin several times that she would not be allowed to speak before the Alaska governor finally relented.
