If 50 percent are above average, that means the other 50 percent are below average. The thing is, those below average often don't know they are below average. They "feel" they are above average and they are very important, but Trump has convinced these people that he cares for them and he knows they are smart. After all, they support him, don't they? He's their hero. I had a relative who is a really good person, but would really annoy me. During Trump's presidency, every time the stock market did very well, would say, Well, what do you think of Trump now?

I know that Trump had some very, very intelligent working for him. But most of the time they were delusional and thought they could control him, which they could, but only to a certain point.
