Politico:The lastest edition of Newsweek features the face of a pensive President Barack Obama along with the provocative headline, Why are Obamas critics so dumb? - and thats hit a little too close to home for conservative bloggers.
Joel Pollak, editor in chief of Breitbart.com, turned the covers question around on Andrew Sullivan, who penned the magazines cover story, in a blog post called, Why is Andrew Sullivan so dumb?
Youd have to be stupid, fanatical, and dishonest to argue as Trig Truther Sullivan does that Barack Obamas failures are part of an ingenious long game that is destined to succeed, Pollak wrote. If this is the best Obamas supporters can do, Obamas only hope for re-election is the weak Republican field.
Similarly, Power Lines John Hinderaker vented in a blog post titled, We must be really, really stupid!

Probably John...of course, we do remember this love note you penned to Dubya back in 2005
It must be very strange to be President Bush. A man of extraordinary vision and brilliance approaching to genius, he can't get anyone to notice. He is like a great painter or musician who is ahead of his time, and who unveils one masterpiece after another to a reception that, when not bored, is hostile.
Your opinion of Obama isn't any more correct than your opinion of Bush.
