All the news in recent weeks has been about pre-trial discovery.

This would be the time a settlement would be offered, but maybe Dominion isn’t interested in settling, maybe they want blood.

So, the longer it takes, the better, IMO.

And, as an attorney with 45 years' experience, I agree. I don't see them settling before trial. Defamation cases are hard to win. And if Fox loses at the trial court level, they will appeal and, only at that point, will settlement discussions begin, if they ever do.

This will be a long case. There are a ton of witnesses and documents. I can see this trial last two or three months
