The thing is, that girl still has a choice in Colorado. And maybe Tyler is also looking for a reason to leave Momma's house. I'm sure he's going to get a house and property to raise his family in, and he might even get himself a position in Daddy's firm or with one of Daddy or Momma's friends.

But I also wouldn't be surprised if either she or her family saw this as a chance to step up an income level or two, as that does affect many women's choice regarding a pregnancy, along with the typical religion/family honor coercion regarding pregnancy and marriage.

The issue for a lot of people is the hypocrisy that many in the GOP engage in.

Nancy Reagan was pregnant before her wedding. What if that was George McGovern or Jimmy Carter's wife? Tiffany Trump was born out of wedlock before Donald had married Marla Maples. What if Hillary Clinton had a child out of wedlock? Republicans would have denounced those Democrats from the rooftops.

I am glad that the baby's mother plans on raising her. But when other unmarried women and girls get pregnant the GOP tends to support giving the baby up for adoption, even when they know the woman has already decided against abortion.

It seems like the Republican position is that there should be absolutely no sex outside of heterosexual marriage and EVERY SINGLE CHILD born out of wedlock should be given up for adoption.
