The United States saw its highest-ever distribution of white supremacist propaganda last year, jumping 38 percent, according to data collected by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).

The group recorded 6,751 incidents of propaganda activity in 2022 — a jump from 4,876 in 2021 that the ADL attributed to growth in the number of white supremacist groups and their membership.

“There’s no question that white supremacists and antisemites are trying to terrorize and harass Americans and have significantly stepped up their use of propaganda as a tactic to make their presence known in communities nationwide,” Jonathan Greenblatt, president of ADL, said in a statement alongside the report.

Three white supremacist groups — Patriot Front, Goyim Defense League and White Lives Matter — were responsible for 93 percent of this year’s activity, which includes banners, posters and events.

1. The US is in a very bad situation, but I really wonder how many Americans are

truly following what is going on. As I understand, many in Germany in the 30's did not fully follow the rise of Hitler as he seized power. All of this is chilling. There are so many uninformed people in the US. I'm not a coward, but I guess scared is the right word choice ... I'm scared of what I feel is occurring in the US and the future ... if we stay on this same path with white supremacist propaganda and similar.

2. The scary thing is what can be done?

You can't police speech / thought and I'm not touching that argument with a 100 foot pole. The hate speech in this country is very scary and is spiraling out of control. I too am truly frightened by what's coming. People even here have said that I am crazy for thinking that a genocide can't happen here, but it could and it's coming.

3. Yep, that's what it always boils down too. "The scary thing is what can be done?"

Some of these people are literally insane and are capable of many things. I think they are capable of genocide. As we know, things can change quickly in a country. I'm stunned at the hostility and hatred in the US. And MAGA and others seldom talk of beneficial plans for humanity. Instead hostility and hatred is their focus. I listened to some of CPAC. Those are literally deranged people. It would be quite interesting to see their psychological profiles. So many in the US lack discretionary thinking, so many take things at face value and go with it. psyops can be so successful with them. I suppose, as usual, time will tell. If it gets bad, I tend to think of escape plans, but in reality none make any sense.
