Happy Daylight Saving Time!

It's that time of the year, so here is this annual post. I love this time of the season. Yeah, we lose an hour but to me this signifies the first important step to ending Winter, and that Spring is around the corner. Love that it gets dark later too! Some people don't like the adjustments, but it's never taken me more than day or two to used to. Anyway:

And that it was just brought up again. It was such a relief tonight not to have to drive in the dark!

I'm disoriented for several weeks from the time change every spring. It was really bad when I was working, but bad enough now. I wish they'd leave the clocks alone.

It takes me weeks to adjust, as well. I wish they'd leave the clocks alone, too. There's no need for this kind of disruption.

I hate it. It's terrible for parents trying to get kids to school this week. We had baseball pictures at 8 am (7am) Sunday morning. I will vote to stop changing time back and forth as many times as it takes to end the stupidity.

I hate DST. It's totally unnecessary. And the older I get the harder it is to adjust to the change.

Just like it did between the two prior days, and the two subsequent days.

Clocks do not control the rising and setting of the sun.

I was obviously talking about clocks. I can tell this issue really bothers you, as I've seen your posts in the other threads. I can respect that you disagree.

during the one year that the country decided to go on permanent daylight "savings" time. The sun didn't come up until after 9AM, which made going to an 8 AM class a real pain: you'd leave for class in the dark, and come back home in the dark.

I don't like changing times twice a year, but if we have to settle on one time let it be standard time!
