It should be obvious to all that Americans are not going to forget about the January 6th attack upon our Capitol.

If that was part of Trump and McCarthy's strategy when they met at Mar-a-Lago, they badly miscalculated. In my opinion, they believed it would all blow over after a short time. It hasn't and it won't.

This is the reality Republicans need to come to grips with. January 6th is not going to disappear until there is some resolution. Time has not made it go away.

The sooner we all understand that January 6th is not going away, the better it is for the country.

Just like eating spinach.

Mike Pence needs to come clean. FOX News needs to come clean. And the Republicans needs to face the truth.

I infuriates me that Newsmax is trying to sugar-coat J6 by broadcasting the cherry-picked clips first shown by Carlson. (I saw Newsmax do this a few days ago when I visited a business which had its television tuned to that abhorrent right-wing propaganda channel.) I hope the broader segment of the general public does not soften in its disdain for the J6 insurrection.
