1. I'm sure he feels stress; his angry rants on his faux-Twitter

are clear evidence of it. He doesn't know any other way to react when he's challenged, so he fights back. It's what he's always done, and it used to work when he was just a sleazy real estate developer because he could afford the legal battles and usually would just beat down smaller businesses to avoid paying them. He's in a different world now, though, and my impression from his nutty faux-tweets is that he's decompensating.

11. Yes, his increasingly angry and unhinged rants are telling us he is distressed about recent events.

Yes I agree he is decompensating.

Sociopaths also create stressors for people with whom they associate. Trump acts like he is ready to melt down.

3. I wonder about this too. Would be interesting to hear from an insider. How does Trump sleep?

Maybe he is such a sociopath and self deluded that nothing bothers him. Or maybe he is like Hitler was towards the end and only massive amounts of drugs get him to sleep. Not that I give a whit about his comfort or health, purely as a psychological curiosity.

13. Yes I agree, he is being medicated.

In the recent speech where he announced his run for POTUS, he was obviously drugged.
Looked like he was on benzodiazepines (valium, etc).

This on top of adderall and cocaine.

5. Sociopaths don't have emotions or feelings in the normal sense.

They experience photo-emotions...primal reactions to fear and stress. They lash out.
He is like a caged rat right now and will bite anything that comes close to him.

I'm surprised he can still function in a way that appears rational to others. Not for long, I suspect.

6. A former psych told me that sociopaths do not feel guilt.

He gave me an example, "politicians". He said said they know the difference between right and wrong but they chose the "wrong" way to benefit themselves. It all about their own needs which the self absorbed sociopath has made into his goal and no one and nothing will make him stop.

10. Yes sociopaths often become distraught when they are caught.

Or backed into a corner.

They don't have any empathy for others, but they care about their own skin.

12. I imagine Trumps lawyers have told him he is in legal peril.

Trump is afraid. You can tell he is afraid when he starts attacking all the prosecutors.

14. When caught, sociopaths typically state they are being framed.

Framed by the cops, prosecutors, friends, associates, family.

Because they are so special, smart, successful, other people are out to get them.

They say this even when they are caught red handed in their crimes.

15. Also sociopaths can become more violent and dangerous when caught.

Some sociopaths can become homicidal or suicidal.
They cannot stand the thought of prison or being humiliated.

But Trump is also very narcissistic which greatly reduces his risk of suicide.
I think he is more the burn it all down all around him type.

I assume Trump is going to try to negotiate some sort of settlement acceptable to all parties.
That is what he has done in the past.

17. I have two more thoughts for this thread...

As Malcolm Nance has said, the culprit gets buggy just before they get caught. I liken it to someone, a narcissist of this magnitude, would be similar to a chunk of dry ice in a bucket of water.

And for -45...
