GQ Magazine described him as “the best-dressed, smoothest-talking, hardest-working criminal defense attorney going.”

But this is really strange:

In 2018, Rev. Al Sharpton's civil rights organization, National Action Network, named Tacopina their humanitarian of the year.

And this:

He was also named on Billboard's most influential people in hip hop list. That same year Tacopina was named man of the year by New York state's Commission for Social Justice.

In 2020, he was honored by New York's 13th congressional district as "one of the most decorated, effective, well-respected criminal defense lawyers in the United States today."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So now he's representing Donald Trump? He's gone from "Social Justice" to believing in Donald Trump. Sounds really fishy, though Trump probably paid him very well. This guy seems smart enough to get the money upfront.

Defense lawyers usually don't have a pot to piss in. Their clients don't usually have jack to pay them.

Maybe the guy just likes defending bad guys. But how he affords the custom tailored suits is puzzling. (Although, on further looking at his wiki page, he has had a lot of well-heeled clients.)

I made it home last night while it was raining, but now that it's turned to snow, it's gone on since late last night. They invariably make fools of themselves. And Ari Melber was asked to testify against Peter Navarro after he'd appeared n his show numerous times, admitting his entire plan for overturning the election!

And there's a second part of that MSNBC interview which just became available - I don't know why they didn't make the entire thing available at the same time:

Still not sure but in my investigating articles about him, I came across a few about Kerik's involvement with him and how Kerik thinks he set him up for prison. (I think at one time they were friends). What is interesting is the same names keep coming up over and over, they are all slimeball mobsters and friends of Trump. I wonder how Kerik feels about Trump hiring him, will he go for a little retribution himself and spill some dish on Trump?

This is just a few articles found and I apologize for the NY Post but it was one of the articles.

Thanks - love this

The city’s disgraced former police commissioner is suing the celebrity criminal lawyer — whose clients include Victoria Gotti and Alex Rodriguez — for negligence and malpractice. Kerik blames Tacopina — once his business partner — for his 2009 conviction on eight federal felony counts, including filing false income tax returns, lying about his apartment renovations and misleading the White House during his 2005 Homeland Security nomination.

Between 2009 and 2013, Kerik sat in the Cumberland, Md., federal prison, convinced that Tacopina had sold him down the river.
