one of the few people left who find it odd that anybody would think of Rolling Stone as a place of serious, quality journalism. Just because an organization has a recognizable banner doesn't mean what they report or how it is presented isn't heavily slanted, biased, agenda driven or trite. That applies to the NYT as well.
