He wasn't that rich to start with.
Wealthy, not ridiculously so.
I did a deep dive into his company's history, their debt load, revenue growth, and more.
Assuming any wealth he derived from his company was invested at 2% above market, he could never have been worth more than $25 million.
That also presumes the enormous debt load (debt:equity nearly 5) was at market favorable interest rates. (When D/E hit 3, it's unlikely the risk didn't substantially increase rates,)
And, revenues of the company have plummeted, but the debt load still exists.
This whole charade has cost more than he could have had? So, who's really paying for it? I ain't Mikey. He simply can't.
