Hannity: "Yes he's going to jail ...he was complicit in making sure that he hid his affair"

Yes, he's going to go to jail and he should be indicted. He knew what he was doing was wrong. He was diverting campaign money. He was complicit in making sure that he hid his affair. He lied to us about it and he is going to end up serving jail time for this. Whether or not he knew it was wrong and against the law, which I believe he did know it was against the law, he is going to jail because you are charged with knowing the laws that apply to you. That applied and he broke the law.

https://popular.info/p/flashback-when-right-wing-pundits

Hannity in 2011, about John Edwards. One year later -

On May 31, 2012, the jury in the Edwards case deadlocked on most charges, and the judge declared a mistrial. In response, Hannity continued to argue that Edwards was guilty because he was using money in excess of the campaign limits to cover up an affair during the campaign. "If we look at this very closely, a campaign contribution, anything of value… for the purpose of influencing the outcome of an election," Hannity said, "So weren't they trying to basically… circumvent the law?"

.... and if was to go to court it should have been to a divorce court. I kind of think Bill and Hillary have some
kind of agreement and of that agreement I think it is nobody's business outside of B. & C.'s.

Whitewater was a money loosing real estate which the 1st special attorney said there was nothing there but
bring on Ken Starr (who was having an affair himself) who went after President Bill just because he could. And
so he got President Bill under oath to speak to a private sexual affair between two adults.

Both Trump & w bush/Cheney's actions were far worse.

I know people who have been in their company. They are not cold and indifferent to one another.

At all.

It's far more likely that Hillary stays not out of some "agreement" but because she loves her husband, who happens to be a very flawed man. I also believe he loves her, but he's stupid when it comes to what's in his pants. I've even heard that, down deep, he knows she's a far better person than he is, he looks up to her for that, and keeps trying to live up to it, even though he falls short of it more than he'd like.

I don't think either of them have every seriously considered a divorce, because it's not what either of them wants. They want to be together, because love and respect is still there, flawed as it is.

This sort of difficult but deep bond happens. A lot. That's why it's a bad idea to buy into the right wing smears about them.

Edwards was disbarred as I recall, he never ran as a candidate for anything again. He was convicted and sent to prison for using campaign funds to support his out-of-wedlock relationship. ("Oh heavens" the Repukes had fainting spells over it!)

Now the same Repukes are doing backflips trying to excuse Chump for the very same behavior. We don't even know how many women he paid off during his 2016 campaign, but Steve Bannon told Michael Wolff that it must have been 100 women. It was probably an exaggeration, but it demonstrates the point ... It's OKay As Long As You're A Repuke.

Sun Apr 9, 2023, 02:37 PM
Apr 2023

Anyone with a flare for the obvious knows this is true

Tennessee proved it this week

It's Okay If You're A Republican In Tennessee!

This is a list of Tennessee Republican behaviors swept under the carpet by the GOP dominated Legislature.

Former GOP members not expelled even for a history child molestation and urinating on a member’s chair!

Link: https://www.mediaite.com/news/watch-justin-jones-destroys-admitted-child-molester-and-other-republicans-who-werent-expelled-from-tn-house/

“Let’s talk about expulsion. For years, one of your colleagues who was admitted child molester sat in this chamber. No expulsion.

One member sits in this chamber was found guilty of domestic violence. No expulsion.

We had a former speaker sits in this chamber who is now under federal investigation. No expulsion.

We have a member still under federal investigation. No expulsion.

We had a member pee in another member’s chair in this chamber. No expulsion.

In fact, they’re in leadership … in the governor’s administration.

SHOCKING in its entirety!

———-

It is reported that the Tennessee 3 and Democratic members were NOT allowed to speak ON BEHALF of their FRIGHTENED and grieving constituents after the mass shooting.

It is reported that the Speaker didn’t follow the rules of debate regarding gun safety.

It is reported that the recently elected 2 Justin’s were repeatedly treated with hateful disdain by GOP colleagues on a regular basis.

For these reasons, the Tennesee 3 bravely chose some “good trouble” to allow their constituents a voice before the legislative body.

And because they are young, more articulate than most of the GOP reps, and black, they were wrongfully treated as criminals and expelled on the spot without an investigation and report.

It is nothing less than SHOCKING that these expulsions were performed without due process, in public view and the punishments exceeded those doled out to a former GOP child molester!

So feel free to stand up and be SHOCKED and OUTRAGED and prepared to protest in favor of democracy!

If we do not, we may leave our projeny in peril.

The GOP has become the Party of environmental & social Nihilism

Is that neither they nor their base care if one of their own does "X". It's all swept under the rug or otherwise hidden. But let someone from the other side get a parking ticket and suddenly it becomes a capital offense. Hannity is one of the most vile in a sea of vileness. Hard to believe I used to actually listen to him.
