Heads-up, FOX-News ...

Every time one of your on-air idiots uses the term "Soros-backed" in reference to a Democrat, what I hear is the sound of the bottom of the barrel being scraped - yet again.

Of course, what you really mean is "backed by a JEW". in hopes that your audience will pick-up on your meaning.

Well, here's the problem. You have failed to take into account the fact that your viewers are so ignorant, the vast majority of them have no idea who George Soros is - no less his ethnicity or religion.

I think the only way to overcome this is to drop the Soros references, and just state things plainly enough so that even your dumb-ass viewers gat it: This Democrat is supported by a JEW - and we all know how despicable those people are! We hate them, you hate them - need we say more?

Just get on with it, and stop expecting your audience members to put two-and-two together and come up with a sum of less than eleven digits. Stop pretending that the phrase "Soros-backed" means anything other than "supported by scheming shysters descended from Christ-killers who fabricated the Holocaust while taking control of banks, the media, and Hollywood movie-makers".

Of course, there's now a new meme on the block to contend with: "Nazi-Enthusiast Harlan Crow-backed SCOTUS Justice Clarence Thomas" - a phrase that we'll undoubtedly be hearing for months to come.

BLACK AMERICANS have been the number one target for forever of white racists.

You must know this.

... because I truly believe you are sincere in your admonition - I am growing tired of myself and other DUers being told that if we post about a specific aspect of Republican malfeasance, we are somehow ignoring and/or dismissing all other aspects of their policies and conduct.

My OP is about their blatant anti-Semitism. It is not meant to cover all of their other more-than-obvious sins against democracy - such as racism, anti-LGBT rhetoric, pro-gun stances, etc.

I would ask you to keep in mind that if every OP posted here required the inclusion of every instance of GOP malfeasance, hypocrisy, and anti-democracy position, every such OP would be thousands of pages long.

We are Democrats - which means we are fully capable of acknowledging what Republicans are doing now, and have done in the past, without having to reiterate them every time we speak.

And you SHOULD know this.

This should stand as a lesson to me, i.e. Don't stay up all night posting until after dawn, instead of getting a good night's sleep.

I am truly sorry for my outburst.

4. I first ran across this accusation a few years back when I went to a local protest in my small city

Over TFG's family separation policy. It was very well attended for this area, a couple of hundred and I saw quite a few people who I knew. There were a handful of MAGA counter protesters there, too, with their flag and their megaphone - and they caused the only trouble by disrupting traffic at this very busy corner. I had a conversation with another woman there who had spoken with them - and she told me that they were saying that we were all bused in from New York City - the other end of the state - by George Soros. At the time I knew little about who he was, some wealthy guy, I figured, let alone his religion. And I'm guessing that half the people there, like me, had little idea who he was, either - but apparently this bigoted notion has taken off. Hate speech tends to do that among the haters.

Even Fox knows that they can’t disparage Jews quite so directly. But you’re right that the phrase ‘Soros-backed’ isn’t quite cutting it. I propose a solution - find someone with a name like Schwartzberg, Finkelstein, or Goldman who contributes to Democratic causes and demonize them. Even the MAGATs will get it.

very well back in the '50's/'60's the GQP used to go after the NAACP and civil rights organizations by saying they were "funded by outsiders from NYC". Everybody knew what they really meant. Good heavens these folks were openly proud of club memberships that excluded Jews.
