The House minority leader slammed House Republicans for their apathy and support for Greene's extremism.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) slammed Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) as “totally out of control” and called out House Republicans for allowing her to represent them.

“The extreme MAGA Republicans are showing the American people who they are,” Jeffries said at this weekly press conference on Thursday. “They’re not even trying to hide their extremism. And Exhibit A is Marjorie Taylor Greene.”

“She’s totally out of control. But they don’t care,” he continued. “The leadership apparently supports Marjorie Taylor Greene. The rank-and-file Republicans apparently support Marjorie Taylor Greene. She’s allowed to lie. She’s allowed to debase the institution. Apparently, Marjorie Taylor Greene is even allowed to elevate someone who appears to have engaged in espionage and treason against the United States of America.”

“And it doesn’t matter. Because Marjorie Taylor Greene is the face of this version of the House Republican conference,” he added.

Kevin McC loves Kevin McC and the only way he can stay in power is holding onto every GOP in the chamber with both fists, no matter how loony they are. So MTG, Boebert, and Santos (or whoever he is) seemingly have his approval while inwardly, he's seething. He knows they're letting the cat out of the bag about who the Republicans really are these days and he knows they're liabilities. 10. I worked in Rome Georgia, her base...

...once a year for many years. (I worked at the Fair there)
The second year I was there the K.K.K. had a group at the gate with signs saying they were there to "take back the fair for white people". Full robes (no hoods) and armed to the teeth. Needless to say we didn't make much money that year. This was early/mid 80's. I can't imagine its gotten any better since then.

21. A few counties east, my downtown emptied out once a year on

the weekend day a tiny local KKK group held their parade. Apparently hearing I had recently moved there, a woman came up to me at a garden club gathering and explained to me what was happening next Saturday and that everyone always stayed away that day so the KKK paraded through empty streets. And how nice that my first notice they were there came as part of a strong community rejection. A couple years later the creeps finally gave up on our deep-red county and moved to combine with another small group in another one.

So not surprising that the fair didn't make much money that year. Whatever else might or might not have been involved, the KKK activity caused some locals to refuse to go near them.

Oooh, those Justins! Bringing a megaphone into the Tennessee legislature when their mics were cut by the Republican leadership. Rep. Greene, who demonstrates day by day the wisdom of Speaker Pelosi in stripping her of her committee assignments, berates her colleagues, name calls witnesses, and cuts sour appletini-and-hot-wings farts (allegedly) whenever she stands up in Congress. Not a peep from Republicans.
