Anti trans law fall out...

Just got the call from my sister in law.

Our son is graduating from a college in Indiana next month. Aunt and her family likely can't attend his graduation because his trans cousin could be taken away. Parents arrested and charged with child abuse. Since she is a teacher, that would get her fired and her teaching license revoked.

The younger cousins have worshipped our son, the oldest grandkid, since they were little.

I know the cruelty is a feature not a bug.

We'll see how my father in law and mother in law who watch faux news nonstop respond to the news.

Of course we live in Iowa, so they can't come here either.

It’s a ban on medical care that
1. Doesn’t take effect until July 1.
2. Allows children time to transition off any meds that it

Earlier version according to the news of both Indiana and Iowa had it as a child abuse for parents. Which is a crime that is automatically reported when you are a school teacher. Not sure if those parts did not make it out if committee

The July 1 date helps for graduation.

If it were your child and your career, you would err on the side of not giving these fascists a way to take away your child and undo the puberty blockers.

The laws that are passing in red states are very bad and families with trans members need accurate information not posts like this one.
