Just got the call from my sister in law.
Our son is graduating from a college in Indiana next month. Aunt and her family likely can't attend his graduation because his trans cousin could be taken away. Parents arrested and charged with child abuse. Since she is a teacher, that would get her fired and her teaching license revoked.
The younger cousins have worshipped our son, the oldest grandkid, since they were little.
I know the cruelty is a feature not a bug.
We'll see how my father in law and mother in law who watch faux news nonstop respond to the news.
Of course we live in Iowa, so they can't come here either.

The July 1 date helps for graduation.
If it were your child and your career, you would err on the side of not giving these fascists a way to take away your child and undo the puberty blockers.
