Or request that he be fired?
After all, he must have heard what Tucker said about him behind closed doors and off the record?
I suspect Donald and Rupert are still working together to maintain their "bases"? FOX helps Trump with his base and Trump helps FOX with their viewer numbers.
Tucker was damaged goods in the eyes of many Trump supporters.

(18,837 posts)...is that Murdoch is not exactly pro-Trump at the moment. He really wants DeSantis, he probably won't GET DeSantis, and then he'll be pro-Trump again if he gets the nomination. But throughout Murdoch's "media empire," he hasn't exactly been giving him glowing coverage.

That time slot is golden for them. OReilly then that moron Watters then Tucker. Basically the same ratings regardless of who is the host. Id bet on Hegseth ending up with the show. Either that or he takes Killmeades spot if he gets the 8:00 slot.

(182,922 posts)I used to see the rerun of OReilly at the gym when I was going at 5AM. Bills last panel segment was always attractive women. That makes grandpas happy as the drift off to sleep.
T&A has always been a big part of Fox News. Ailes knew what he was doing. Ill give him that.

(2,331 posts)There would still be a case, but not as good of one if Tucker hadn't put a whole bunch of stuff in writing.
