The greatest jobs president in history. Wages continue to soar too, up another 16 cents an hour last month.

180,000 and 3.6% were expected.

So Powell has been trying mightily to destroy the labor market, but it's just too resilient. If the next inflation numbers come in lower again, he's out of reasons to try to harm the labor market. Last month, wage growth exceeded inflation by 4 or 5 times, people are actually getting back ahead right now.
