that is tired of hearing about politicians or others "calling for" someone's resignation, laws restricting guns, or this or that. Not that I disagree with them in principle, but it's rather pointless to "call for" something like Clarence Thomas or others to resign when we know it's not going to happen. It just seems to be a way to get their name in the news. That's not what we elect people to do.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like a lot more thread titles have the word "call for" these days.

I'm not criticizing the people who post such threads, I'm criticizing the people doing the "calling for" when they know damn well it will not happen.

1. In general yes, but ALL Democrats should call for Thomas to resign, knowing that scumbag never

will but not calling for it is very bad messaging.

Calling for gun laws is also good knowing the current SC, which will be with us for about 30 years, will not allow a SINGLE gun law in ANY state...still have to call for them.

Are these polls showing that Pres. Biden is too old to run for the presidency, is sinking in the polls vs Hitler and Mussolini, while at the same time legitimizing a seditious, crazy, insane mad man in tRump's running again for the presidency and his ass is 76 years old. He's a rapist, guilty of espionage and worse and is all seven deadly, treasonous sins and a one man crime wave rolled into one, who wanted his OWN vice-president HUNG on Jan. 6th because he certified the 2020 GE, and Pence was weak-kneed about that, even though he did certify the 2020 GE. Dan Quayle of all people told him that he HAS to certify the election, and that is his duty to do so. Yes, the man who couldn't even spell potato dropped some knowledge that day on Pence. Back to the corporate, reich-winged media, they're at it again with these pieces of shit polling, yes, the same mostly corporate, reich-winged, greedy for ad bucks, views and clicks of tRump media who was yelling daily about this "BIG, HUGE, MAGA RED WAVE" muscling into the Fall of 2022 that was gong to completely WIPE Dems out in the last midterm.

We have a mostly corporate, reich-winged, money-grubbing media in love with tRump who they really give a chance to win the presidency again. The only thing between this country's ass being on the ground forever is Pres. Biden, MOST Dems (Not Manchin/Sinema), save for the likes of The Midas Touch, Randi Rhodes, Daily Koz, Jon Stewart, Stephanie Miller and the rest on youtube and on various podcasts et al., and while I've never been the most optimistic type of person, I do feel that there are better days ahead even though now we're swimming in a Grand Canyon-sized river of SHIT thanks mostly to the GQP US Taliban Fascist Putin-loving Party.
