so basically cnn gave up prime time for two babblers to just make stuff up.

I can't remember which podcast I was listening to--might have been Sam Harris or Ezra Klein--but they were talking about how trump can't even be called a liar because what he actually does is bullshit. He doesn't even qualify to be a liar!

The point was that a liar at least has some respect for the truth because they stay consistent with their lie. They might even be strategic with the lie, making sure it has some believability. Trump, however, has no respect for the truth and just babbles whatever is on the tip of his tongue. This is why he screws up so much and incriminates himself in very serious situations which could add years to a sentence if he is convicted.

Now that's pathetic: when you're so bad at it you can't even qualify for "liar."

How long did they work on that one?

They're desperately trying to spin their way out of this, but that "town hall" was a major misstep, a debacle.

But CNN knows, and they know we know, how much more money they make if Trump is the nominee instead of DeSantis. That 2016 gaslight job ain’t gonna go over twice, though, so they’re kind of being up front about it this time.

So maybe I’m wrong. Maybe it IS her job.

They forgot the majority of America wants Trump outta here. If they stood up, said they were wrong and Trump is nuts, their viewership would go way up, for being the only cable news program to do the right thing

But they won't.

But then, I'd really like to see American democracy prevail and they don't seem to care.

He says with Reagan as President they “ate the monkey brains” and as a party are “now in end-stage prion disease.”

I find that unforgettably colorful and apt.
