This Mothers Day, our table will remember specifically mothers who lost their children to gunfire

We are very fortunate to know firsthand no mother who has suffered such a loss. The very thought, however, is chilling.

But I have room for others and I am going to take time to hold all mothers close. Those who have lost their children to gun violence and those who sacrifice everything to bring their children here from far away places. Mothers who have lost sons and daughters in Ukraine. Your post reminded me that this day that is set aside has many different mothers and moms than just myself. Ty
