I am not a mother and sadly I lost mine last year.
Happy Mothers Day to you all.

(16,248 posts)Attentive and loving parents, education and a solid foundation. Gonna be interesting seeing how far both daughters go and something tells me, they will make a difference and I hope I live long enough to say..I told ya so🤗

(3,769 posts)It seems like yesterday that we saw a darling little girl walk out on the stage with her family. I shed tears when I compare this wonderful family with that other one. That election night my husband and I were celebrating our 50th anniversary and when the Obama family walked out on the stage we both jumped up and down and screamed with joy. It's a memory I'll never forget.

(28,799 posts)i called my friend Carla and yelled "YES WE DID!" and she laughed, she was at her mother's house. Her mother was weeping. She was over 90 years old at the time and they are Black, and yes, it was a night to remember. The changes her mother went through in her life I can barely even imagine.

(4,439 posts)a better place. We were so lucky to have had them in the White House for 8 years. We watched their children grow up. I'm sure it wasn't easy for them with all the racism happening. May their futures be bright and full of happiness. As well as their parents.
