So how's it going, CNN?

Have you been high-fiving each other over the great success of your Trump town hall? Or have you been crying on each other's shoulders over the backlash that inevitably ensued?

Did you break out the champagne last Wednesday night? Or did you wash down your celebratory dinner with your own tears?

Are you standing by your network's decision to host a Trump rally? Or are you standing by to hear from your respective agents' inquiries into finding you work at legitimate news outlets?

Do you start every morning singing in the shower? Or do you begin your day vomiting into the toilet as you realize what you are a part of, and what you have become?

Are you taking pride in your network's humiliating conduct? Or are you simply taking pride in your own humiliation thanks to your network?

Just wonderin' how you so-called "most trusted name in news" folks are dealing with being outed as shills for a lying, twice-impeached, indicted 'pResident' who is currently under investigation for - among other crimes - trying to overthrow our democracy.

I'm also wonderin' how Anderson Cooper - once revered as an honest journalist - is faring after his embarrassing attempt to CNN-'splain that Democrats 'live in siloes' and are too politically stupid to understand who Trump is, and what he represents.

So how's it going, CNN? I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that it's not going well - and that the fallout from this week's debacle is just the beginning of what is to come.

cocooned in privilege little boy, explain to us silo dwellers that our revulsion at CNN hosting Donald Trump, a deranged anti-American pathological liar/sexual predator/racist/antisemite/cheat/traitor/grifter/misogynist/Hitler wannabe/
malignant narcissist/psychopath was understandable...but to blame Tucker Carlson's Daily Caller former employee/FOX guest Kaitlan Collins, now CNN's gutted/flayed/demeaned next new thing, and Trump ass-crawling toady CNN president Chris Licht, (the ratings genius who packed the hall with howling poop-flinging MAGA baboons) was unfair/misplaced/unworthy because CNN was, in fact, performing a public service, dontcha know...

as a worldly-wise 75 year old life-long Democrat, someone who marched for civil rights, abortion rights, voting rights, I have a message for Anderson Cooper...GO FUCK YOURSELF AND THE CNN HORSE YOU RODE IN ON...

I'm particularly missing Stephen Colbert this week (late night shows are in repeats because of the writers' strike), not only because he'd have a lot to say about the disgraced, twice impeached, indicted individual who attempted to overthrow the government he is now running to lead - but because he considers Anderson Cooper a friend (they both lost their fathers at an early age) and CNN CEO Chris Licht was most recently executive producer of The Late Show.

Here in Germany, as well as France, Belgium and the Netherlands, the channels where CNN International used to be have been dark for months.

I think CNN's decision to do this was (probably) well intentioned - but how they engineered it was a shitshow.

Let's not trash Kaitlan Collins - she did the best she could under the circumstances - those circumstances being engineered by the CNN bosses.[/b

That said, CNN could have structured it differently. Perhaps a short term ARMY of fact-checkers working real-time on-screen?

reputation by including Democrats and their questions in the audience.

They didn't because they cared more about the "ratings" from coddling the Orange Traitor Tot than they did about democracy.

I didn't expect anything less from those media traitors. When was the last time they went into urban America and asked those real Americans what they thought of Biden and his win? Or asked about his policies and how those would affect ordinary people?

You know, like they did for years for the traitor MAGAts.

But nope, they ignore all of those real Americans and coddle the right wing traitors, as per usual for them.

They've been this way for decades now.

Now people are finally waking up to the traitor scum that they are.
