5. Happy Mother's Day back at ya - and to all

I am having the Best Mother's Day Ever!

My daughter needed me to help out with her 3 going on 4 daughter when her husband had to make an emergency trip to Iran with his mom (death in family) She flew me out on her points, and it has been a great week.

Hami (granddaughter) and I have had a blast just hanging out. I have been her chauffer to pre-school and her buddy in the house while Margaret is busy with tattooing and managing their Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym while Issa is away.

I will still come out for the Big Birthday Party in August, but this was an unexpected treat even if for a sad reason.

We have even had fairly balmy weather (for PHoenix anyway).

It's been a great week.

I will never forget that when my Aunt Nina arrived for her sister's funeral, I turned and said, "I don't know how I'll live without my mother." She, whose own mother died when she was 14, hugged me tight and said, "I will be your mother." And she was.
