(53,787 posts)but I think he's looking at the legal trouble trump is in, DeSantis' unpopularity, as well as Haley's, and speculatiing that if everything develops just right, he might be the republican Obama.
Of course everything has to fall just right...and then there's always the VP slot if it doesn't.
Of course he won't win if the first plan works POCs won't fall for a fake Obama when we've had the real thing.

Someone as crazy as Quari Lake or SHS perhaps? I just might also be wrong on that.
On the other hand, the White Supremacists in the party will not stand for an African-American on the GOP ticket. I mean really, why would Tim Scott be referred to by TIFG as "my African-American"?
Good for Democrats if that were to happen.

(2,047 posts)I heard him interviewed on NPR. He wants to restore American principles but won't say what they are. And he wants Hunter's laptop. Also he says his being Hindu won't hurt him with Christian Nationalists. lol.

(15,428 posts)Nikki Haley, Mike Pence, and Asa Hutchinson won't win either, as Trump or DeSantis have a lock on the nomination. I don't buy that an African American can't win the nomination either. Tim Scott won in extremely conservative SC. I fully expect Byron Donalds to one day be on a national ticket.
