Kevin McCarthy dispels right-wing conspiracy that Biden has dementia

I have met President Biden twice at fundraisers in 2019. I got to talk to President Biden about stuttering and how people deal with stuttering. President Biden is not senile nor has dementia. There are times that President Biden may misspeak or stumble but that is due to stuttering. If you know what to look for, you can see where President Biden is compensating for stuttering issues. I caught a couple of examples in the SOTU speech which was a truly great speech.

McCarthy just acknowledge that President Biden does not have dementia.

But it seems Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) isn't on message.

Asked about Biden, McCarthy said: "I thought his team was very professional, very smart, very tough, at the same time, so...." The fact that McCarthy said "team" threw reporters off. They asked again, specifically about Biden. "What I was referring to was the president. I was talking about President Biden, yes."
